I was offered a job with a big name defense contractor and was told that I had a slightly higher pay in my 'band' because of the school that I went to, and that the starting salaries of other applicants from lower schools would be slightly less. |

defense contractors can do whatever they like, but not the govt. even though i went to an ivy league school, i'd much rather join an egalitarian organization like the cia than a wall st. bank that only recruits from eight schools.
