"Stole" means you did not pay for the item, in this case dvds, right? So, go pay for them now and clear your conscience! Go to the Manager. It's going to be embarrassing facing your old Boss and confessing. Bring money to pay for what you have not yet paid for; expect a lecture; thank the Manager for understanding. If you live too far away, mail a letter with the money enclosed. (Asking for a receipt may be unwise). Then when anyone asks "Did you ever steal?" you can honestly say "I was late paying a debt, but I paid it in full."

I'm not sure I'd say it still wasn't stealing, but I think paying is a great idea. I wouldn't have thought of that.
