The DI and DO may have different suitability standards, so these examples may be inapplicable in other cases (*Does anyone know for a fact or have an educated guess about whether they are?*).
The rescision rate for the DO is much higher than for the DI. Accoreding to info posted earlier, about a third of the DI applicants do not complete the process.

It almost seems like security will pass whoever they want to pass. But if they really want to fail you that can come up with a suitability reason, and then not tell you what it is. Frustrating.
