This was compiled by a group of excellent, diligent posters a couple of months ago: DI process is: 1.Online application 2.Interview (phone or person) 3.Writing samples 4.Online writing test 5.COE and SI-86 6.3 day clearance process (poly, testing, and possible office visit) 7.then BI and adjudification. 8.yah or nay DO process is: 1.Online application 2.Phone Interview 3.Packet with writing sample and Questions 4. info session and 1 on 1 5. 3 day interviews (This includes academic testing another 1 on 1 and a meeting with psych) 5.COE and SF-86 6.3 day clearance process 7. BI and Adjudification 8.yah or nay DO has two 3 day sessions and is a longer process overall. Average timeframe 1.5 years, delays between steps vary.
Message: Thanks Hacking. This is very intersting, but I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the DS&T process. What I've experience so far is rather different from both the DI and DO application tracks.
