I can't speak for the 3-day but in univ. info sessions the reps have said that they they don't test you on languages until after you join, and then if you are testing partly to get the language bonus, the rep said you can choose to delay the test until you brush up on that language.
I would, however, be intertested to hear if they probe the language ability at all during the 3 day. |

Some jobs have a written translation test they give out during application. FBIS or open source officer is an example. These are usually just a page of text you have to translate, and you can use a dictionary.
