I'm not one to worry about what people think of me or who can figure out stuff about me, but in this line of business that we're all trying to get in, I would suggest using a little more discretion.
Hell, even military members wouldn't be posting their age. It just isn't wise.

that this is a totally open channel, so as well as all of us well meaning folks grappling with the application process, there is also likely less than savory folks and also agency monitors viewing this site. Think about it. Everyone's free to write what they want, but like navyfrog says, we're going into a business that requires discretion.
