What engineering position are you in for? I'm having a real hard time finding other S+T folks on here.

It seems like everyone here is gunning for DI or DO positions. Is anyone looking into, or in the process of applying for S+T positions?
I'm just wondering how different it is - the recruiting process, the application timeline, et cetera.
