spynavy, I presume when you say you already had clearance, means you had TS/SCI from somewhere like NSA et al who also poltygraphs that the agency views as more or less equal to there's and basically piggybacks for thier purposes? |

Although I think the process is still streamlined if you have a TS/SCI but NOT the lifestyle poly. A friend of mine from DOD was like that ... he still had to do a CIA poly, but overall his clearance still seem to be processed faster than another friend of mine with no clearance at all.
