Yeah, I figure you have good reason so not foolish. Foolish is going on vacation for no particualr reason than needed a break. It sure doesn't sound like you're doing that.
It does depend on the specific country. I would be straightforward / upfront with the PO and if possibly (maybe via her) with the security office so they know you are not trying to hide anything, then even though it may take extra time it would probably be OK. Good luck. |

sky -i also wanted to say thanks for the info b/c i am sorta in the same boat w/ work. they want me to travel internationally soon and i've put it off since i've been in this process, which is about a year now. the comment came up in a staff mtg yesterday and it's like 'well, i really can't go right now' and my boss was like ' well, ok'. i was a little ticked off b/c he knows what's going on, but i also really want to go.
i'm not sure if i'm in adjudication yet, but God i hope so !
