I'm guessing the informational sessions are the same for both DO and DI, so I will tell you that you have nothing to worry about with the DO one. The session is very relaxed and is meant to explain to you what the Agency does and what each career track is comprised of.
The interview is more in-depth with some role playing and current events, but it is still pretty relaxed. You'll get asked standard questions that are for the interviewer to get to know you better.
In all honesty, you have nothing to worry about with this session. You'll walk away learning more about what you'll be doing and the other fields as well. Don't worry about a thing. Just go in being as relaxed as possible and be honest throughout this entire journey. |

I think they have you read the books to dispell all the BS popular culture about what the CIA is and does. It is a waste of your time and theirs if you want to be James Bond, Jack Bauer or Jack Ryan. Even though she's a flake, Lindsay Moran gives a much better sense of the work than those fictional dudes.
