COE = Conditional Offer of Employment. It's conditional since you then have to obtain TS/SCI (Top Secret/Special Compartmentalized Information) secuirty clearance. Once you get passed that you will be offered several dates over a six month period for EOD (Entry On Duty), which is your start day. There endith this acronym lesson :-) Hope that helps.
