the first time i applied was on a whim when i was finishing undergrad and then i forgot about it completely. about a month later i started getting a voicemail a week (my cell phone was off while i was at work) from some guy stating some weird acronym. since i had applied to a bunch of crap while finishing undergrad, i never bothered to return one of his four messages over the course of about a month. finally one day i had my cell phone on, answered it, and kind of rudely asked who he was and why did he keep on calling me. he then blurted out the three different letters: C-I-A, and I could not apologize quick enough. later than night, once i was able to talk to him in private, he even had to give a brief description of each directorate and tell me which one i had applied to! i was such a mess, but eventially got pretty far into that first application process until i was dq'd for drug use. so if i could advance past such a rocky start, anyone can. |

yeah, all of these other agencies call from unlisted numbers too.. a couple of times i've picked up hoping it was THE agency but it was another. this time, my instincts were right on.
i got a message today (yes i missed another call).. i guess after so many times they leave contact info.. so now things will be back on track.
