the only etiquette to worry about is telling him the truth. they are all really nice guys that i have met--just shoot the shit with them for the hour they are sitting in you living room. if it's a problem, suggest meeting somewhere else, but make sure it's in private. my friends ended up meeting with them at their offices (my friends' offices, not the investigators') or local coffee places. although i do have to admit that i removed some of my roomate's things from the fridge before the guy came over. |

Like everyone else in sales does. But remember, you'll be talking about all kinds of potentially personal things (why did you leave job X, did you get along with people there, etc). His job is to develop leads to talk to that you have NOT given them, since obviously, you have cherrypicked the good ones -- they want to hear from people who you did not name.
