You've got to be kidding. It would be ridiculous to keep people in the DO if they're not totally confident that they want to be there.... |

they obviously should not be forced to stay, but there should be a clause that prevents them from publishing within the first few years. if this guy actually did join up and go through training just with the intention of quiting to write a book, that would be pretty bad.
