In Reply To: What are the protocols on foreign travel to friendly countries (e.g. Canada and the UK) during the application process? I received my COE about 6 months ago and had my first 2 polys 4 months ago. I found out a few weeks ago that I need to come in for a 3rd poly, but they're so backed up that they may not be able to tell me when for weeks/months. My BI finished by mid december, and I went right into adjudication. In the meantime, I had hoped to visit some school friends (American and British, all of whom were listed on my foreign contact list) abroad. I'm guessing that because I had been in adjudication, and because I need another poly, foreign travel would either complicate things way too much, or that my PO would simply tell me that I shouldn't go. I don't want to call to ask from fear that even asking would raise some kind of red flag on my app. Any thoughts? Thanks
Message: It just complicates things. I've been told this be every recruiter I've talked to, my PO, and investigators.
