well, my opinion is that it does not look good. maybe other people on this board have had that happen to them and then later got through, but i doubt it. you should still reapply, but definitely have something else lined up as well. the real debate on this topic is whether or not your experience will prevent you from working for other govt organizations that require a security clearance. |

Yes, I agree that is the real debate. I have spoken to people who do OPM's investigations and they say that no way would CIA divulge anything that came out of poly and that the only thing they would know is that I was deemed unsuitable.
I imagine if it were NSA or FBI or another agency that polys they might share files but an agencty that only requires a secret or top secret I have gathered would not get access to CIA files. Maybe you know differently...? There is a thread on this site "Hope for Rescinded COEs" or something along that line where one guy who was deemed unsuitable got in at another intel agency.
