I walked out of there feeling pretty confident because my interviewer told me that if I didn't get a COE, he would appeal and make sure I got one (this was during the 3-day). He told me I was one of the strongest candidates he had seen in 40 years in the DO. It was pretty random because he was my interviewer two years before that when I got rejected for drug use and he remembered me. I don't mean to sound cocky, but the interview could not have gone better. My only doubt was from the standardized testing, psych profile, and meeting with the psychologist. He accused me of being impulsive and that's why I did drugs and took illegal trips overseas (think cuba). |

One of the best conversations I've had in my life. Not for reasons of self assurance or vanity or personal revelation so much as the interviewer was incredibly memorable. We were completely on the same wavelength. Some of the quotes from that conversation have gestated in my head for months.
If you're not doing well in the 1 on 1, I'm sure you'll know. You're talking to a firm made of people whose job it is to get along with strangers; if they want you to feel confident and reassured, you will.
As with anything in the overly enlongated recruitment process, just don't think about it much. There's not much you can do to manipulate your suitability on this.
