In Reply To: I really think, as I have said before, that the purpose of the 3-day for the DO is to stress-test the slew of people who want to be "spies" and find those that they really want. For the DI, they've done that already and it really is just the process of making sure you have nothing to hide that would disqualify you.
Message: There seems to be some confusion in the difference between the two processes. From what I understand DI process is: 1.Online application 2.Interview (phone or person) 3.Writing samples 4.Online writing test 5.COE and SI-86 6.3 day clearance process (poly, testing, and possible office visit) 7.then BI and adjudification. 8.yah or nay DO process is: 1.Online application 2.Phone Interview 3.Packet with writing sample and Questions 4. info session and 1 on 1 5. 3 day interviews (This includes academic testing another 1 on 1 and a meeting with psych) 5.COE and SF-86 6.3 day clearance process 7. BI and Adjudification 8.yah or nay so DO has two 3 day sessions and is a longer process overall.
