for DO and DI applicants. DI seems to send out COEs before the 3-day. DO seems to do it after the 3-day, probably because applicants have meaningful interviews and presentations. In the DI, the 3-day trip is, not including the poly, pretty fun. |

I really think, as I have said before, that the purpose of the 3-day for the DO is to stress-test the slew of people who want to be "spies" and find those that they really want. For the DI, they've done that already and it really is just the process of making sure you have nothing to hide that would disqualify you.
