I would not really call them "what-ifs". The interviewer assumes a role and you play a case officer. You simply act out the situation and react to the curveballs they throw you. This is one of the more unnatural things to do if you are a little shy. But then again, if the role playing truly is painful for you, you may be lacking a key characteristic they are looking for, though I doubt they would dsiqualify someone solely based on the role playing part. To an extent these are skills that can be worked on and taught. |
