I could not agree with govnut more. The poly is a very difficult experience, even if you have nothing to hide. Day 1 was so easy that I came into day 2 a little too relaxed and she broadsided me! Most violating experience of my life, and I'm not even shy about talking about my sex life! The actual BI was surprsingly quick and straight forward on the domestic end, not sure what went on overseas (I've spent three months or more in about six countries). |

I've heard horror stories about poly examiners delving into people's sex lives, but I thought that was just CIA lore! I too was broadsided on my second poly. The first one seemed very easy. The examiner was nice (a young woman) and the second equally young woman was the exact opposite. It was terrible, but they didn't ask about sex at all! She seemed more concerned with petty stuff and stuff so far out in left field that it was almost laughable.
I do have a question for those in the know: Do they "pair" you up with examiners based on any certain criteria? I mean, there was only one young woman (in a group of various aged men and older women) who seemed to be conducting exams on the days I was there (we sat in a room of about 30 and we were all called out of the room, one by one, by an examiner). Oddly, I was the one you was interviewed by the young women on both days. I too am a younger woman...but there were plenty of other women my age there too. It just seemed a little too coincidental to me I guess....
