An 8/6 is what the bottom salary is. If you are right out of college with no "real" employment, that is pretty good, but otherwise, I would fight. Having said that, have you signed your COE already? If so, you may be stuck. |

I expected that it was a bottom salary, and yet I was higher than the other four in my group.
I've been out of school and working for over a year (which pry just put me up to step 6?), and I've had two internships in W. Europe.
Maybe I should negotiate if/when my COE comes (its only been two weeks since DC visit), but how much higher could I really go?? If we're only talking a marginal increase in pay, then it wouldn't be worth it to slow the process.
