Ive spent considerable time abroad in two hard target countries learning the langages I now speak fluently- which is exactly what makes me an asset to the company, among other things. Yet some boyscout whose never left the midwest gets to skip ahead of me.. |

I know what you mean dao. I don't speak a 'target' language but have spent a lot of time living abroad in Europe and studying those languages, which is what they want me for (presumably). But it's that experience that makes my application slower than grass growing.
But I suppose it makes sense in the long run. But can't they just give me the benefit of the doubt? ;)
