No problem.. I just want to let others out there know that it's a distinct possibility to get that far in the process, have no skeletons in your closet, but still get the thin letter.
I did my med/poly back in October. Like everyone else processing during that time, I had two polys. At the end of the second one, I was told I passed. Nothing new or interesting was revealed (i.e. everything discussed was on my SF-86). I had a brief meeting with a psychologist, nothing intense.
The background investigation started and was completed in mid-November. From then through last week, I had heard nothing from my PO. I know the background investigator was very positive and had normal conversations with my friends and colleagues.
I knew it was a possibility to be deemed unsuitable after the med/poly, but I incorrectly assumed that no news after 3 months was good news. It just came in the mail... thankfully before I had resigned from my current job! After a week, I'm ok with it. I'll find something better suited to my talents and personality. I do think it was the therapy stint that did me in.. but they had known that for six months before deciding that was bad, so there really is no telling.
Good luck to you! |

Did you talk to your recruiter? My file has been in adjudication for about two months. I had just one polygraph examination and the BI went smooth. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what is the rejection rate in adjudication? It is anxiety time here.
