for everyone out there who had a COE from an intel agency rescinded and is now applying to a different intel agency, there's hope!
i had my COE from CIA rescinded several months ago but i just received the same level clearance (TS/SCI) from another intel agency. so hang in there!!!
the intelligence community is not a monolith, if you don't fit one place, you may fit somewhere else, and you may be glad you end up where you do. |

Ugh. Well, after a year of applying and shuffling back and forth to DC and talking myself into the DO as a perfect career option for me, I received the dreaded thin white envelope yesterday. I have absolutely no idea why. My friends and I have all lost faith in the country's security if they're not hiring people like myself.
I think they should rework the process to weed out for "suitability" reasons some time less than three full months after the med and poly. They really give no indication of what went wrong?
I just have to see it as a blessing in disguise and explore other options.. Who do they let into the DO these days????
