From everything I have been able to glean on here, the large time delay comes in the adjudication of clearances. I have expired TS clearance, so I am hopeful that this will be fairly expeditious.

The front end of the process went really fast for me. Like SurferDude2006 said, the main hold up was in adjudication, where nearly 2/3 of my total wait time was spent.
