In Reply To: Hello there, Just wondering what can hold things up. I have a DoD Secret clearance already and an MS in Telecommunications along with 5 years in the industry in Network Engineering. I went to a job fair and was asked to come back for an interview the next day. After a long talk along with many questions and signatures on forms the recruiter stated that I was an ideal candidate and if I didn't hear back from them in 45 days to call him and he would "work the issue" and get me into the system. I have called and, of course it's an answering machine, I have heard nothing. That was roughly 6 months ago and I have reapplied but should I just give up and move on? I was looking at the DO and after reading a lot on this board it looks like they have a different method for recruiting so maybe this is the issue. Anyway, thanks for any feedback.
