Anyone have any idea what the statistics are for those applicants who make it to the background investigation? How many of those actually get hired? Thanks for the input |

The time between sending in a r??sum?? and appearing at a recruiting "blitz" is from one to three months, depending on the scheduling of the field interviews. The lapse between the field interview and a conditional offer of employment (following the Washington interview and the PAT-B) is approximately two months. From the blitz to entry on duty is usually from six to nine months depending on the security clearance process and the scheduling of orientation/training courses. New hires are brought on two or three times a year. For the Clandestine Service about two percent of those submitting r??sum??s are hired.
