Congrats on getting your clearance.
I am a fellow applicant to the DI and in adjudication. I was wondering how many polys you took... I am on my 3rd one and was wondering if that is typical. Surferdude, all thoughts welcome. |

I was fortunate and only had to take one poly. But from interacting with other applicants while in DC, it seemed like most had to come in for a second round. In fact, of 10 or so applicants I talked to, only one other passed the first time through.
I even met someone who was asked to come in for a third time.
So, though I don't have exact numbers, it does seem like it's pretty normal to be asked to poly a second (or even third) time.
