Program Officers assigned to the Recruitment Center, may, in fact, be very familiar to the position you are interviewing for. Many of the employees are on assignment for a period of time from another part of the agency, including DO. OO/CMO/SOOs can be assigned to the recruitment center and I suspect it would be the same for other directorates as well. |

Yes, program officers are on assignment from other parts of the agency, but I'm not too convinced they put too much thought into assigning particular program officers to applicants.
My first program officer perviously worked in a completely unrelated office than the one I was assigned to, and could only minimally answer questions I had about my job.
