In Reply To: I truly believe the speed of your invidivual process has alot to do with WHERE you are applying from. I applied in late June, heard back by Mid July, had my interview. Waited 3 weeks, heard back again. Send in my writings and packet, heard 2 weeks later I had an info session and interview. Waited about 2 weeks for the date to come (early October), waited 2 and a half weeks, then heard that I had a D.C. trip to schedule. Got back, waited 3 weeks, got my COE, sent in my stuff. Then, I waited about 2 weeks, got a call to schedule my Med/poly (went in early Dec). Got a call 2 days after Christmas from an investigator who said he had a deadline for the B.I just a week and a half away. So, according to him, he already turned in his reports and I should be in adj soon. Basically, my wait time for knowing NOTHING AT ALL was at most 3 weeks at a time. Now, the true wait begings I guess. But, I have not "steller" qaulifications other than an advanced degree. No special languages or anytthing. I think I am just a lucky midwesterner! Don't loose hope if your waits are long. Just chalk it up to heavy applications from the area you live in.
Message: Ah! But you had the charisma and personality they are looking for! The other stuff can be learned, but you can't learn charisma.
