Going through the interview process...once they find out I'm on anti-depressants is that an automatic disqualifier? Would that come up at the 1 on 1? |

i really don't know. i do have the same concerns as you. my thoughts...
1)My friend has been on them since high school (for nearly a decade), and i know she now works for another big intell agency. so, not an automatic disqualifier.
2) anti-deps are so common and well accepted that the CIA would be very antiquated to think they alone are any kind of prob. however, i am sure they raise some red flags. i would definitely be concerned if your emotional state has in anyway impaired your work/school performance and there is record of this. E.g have you ever been hospitalized or taken a brief hiatus.
3)they make you list all mental health profs you have seen in the past. in the forms they clearly state that they will contact all of them. so there is no hiding anything. plus, there is the psych eval.
4)this subject has been discussed in another post last month that you can check out for more insights.
