You will likely not get much help in the relocation (financial, yes, logitical, no). To the best of my knowledge, there is not centralized "help" center to assist in the relocation. If you do not have friends in the area with whom you can stay for a few weeks while you figure out where to live, then talk to your Program Officer and see what they recommend. Be warned, house prices in DC are way out of line for goverment salaries (unless you have 2 on the payroll). |

I've been on Craigslist for the DC area, so I know what you're saying about housing/rental prices...I'm bummed they don't have anything to offer in regards to relocation assistance. Do you know anyone who had relocated?
