I believe my BI is now complete, and I've been handed over to adjudication (which I know can take anywhere from 1 to who knows how many months) - I'm curious if anyone knows what kind of packet you receive once your adjudication is complete. I know they pay for moving expenses, but do they offer any help finding housing/rentals in the DC area? Do they offer house hunting time? Thanks for any insight... |

You will likely not get much help in the relocation (financial, yes, logitical, no). To the best of my knowledge, there is not centralized "help" center to assist in the relocation. If you do not have friends in the area with whom you can stay for a few weeks while you figure out where to live, then talk to your Program Officer and see what they recommend. Be warned, house prices in DC are way out of line for goverment salaries (unless you have 2 on the payroll).
