Can anyone here offer any insight on whether russian is still valued or not for field officers? Is it worth the pursuit for my career track or should I just bite the bullet and learn a middle eastern language? |

Although the focus now is the war on terrorism, both Chinese and Russian -- owing to their strategic importance, will remain languages of interest.
