site says age 35--but we all know there's huge chunk of time between getting your COE and actual overseas deployment. So at what point does 35 yr. old cutoff take effect? (no one older than 35 may be offered a COE, no matter how qualified; no one older than 35 may commence paramilitary training at Camp Perry; no one older than 35 may be deployed on first assignment overseas) ?? |

Since your question seems to have been obscured by the resulting posts, let me answer from my own experience. I was also concerned because I applied in my 35th year. My program officer responded that the age limit was flexible based on the individual. If you have what they're looking for, they will give you the chance no matter if you're 30 or 40. That was straight from a recruitment center employee. Hope that alleviates your worry.
