I'm DO.
The only thing I can think of is after my 2 day sessions they asked if i would be willing to take another poly if they wanted me to. I said of course. I assumed that was pretty standard. Aside from updating work information, I have had no contact with them for over 8+ months. Now out of the blue this happens. I am fine with it. Just another hoop, I guess, to jump through.
My only issue is there is a good chance I will be in the border patrol academy in New Mexico by the time my appointment comes around. If so I may just pull out of the process. |

With all due respect to those that keep watch on the borders, working with the DO would be 100% more interesting than that. If given the chance to go DO, I strongly encourage you to.
