well considering by the time i was 17 ive had guns pulled to my face 3 times and consequently got away unscathed (apart from bruises) I think I'll be okay.
Can someone please answer my question in the bottom of the "alas" message, and in the "answer and another question" message?
thanks again for any insight |

While I doubt whatever admissions you make to the agency can be held against you criminally, do expect it to be held against you in terms of other federal employment opportunities. I have little doubt, and some confirmation, that the "three-letter acronyms" do indeed pool their information about potential employees. Have you any doubt, go and apply for a position with DIA. You'll be prompted specifically about sharing your information for other federal agencies to use.
I think that should be the least of your concerns. You seem extraordinarily apprehensive about your "past." What exactly have you done? And, do you sincerely feel that it will severely hurt your chances of agency employment? I think those are more pertinet concerns at this point. I advise you to be extremely upfront about your history and do expect to be scrutinized for it.
