Ashrael, thanks for the feedback...actually i already have an MBA and am wondering is doing an MSF and CFA is an overkill to be in the asset mgmt field or would a certtificate and CFA suffice. The problem is that most top schools dont offer an MSF. |

I will be truly honest with you MSF SUCKS....... dont waste your time doing that crap. An MBA and CFA would open you the doors in IM an MSF would not open much. Dont believe what they say do your homework, some research. Go to managerreview.com or morningstar.com and look for the bios of the Portfolio Managers of some funds you would see MBA an CFA not MSF. Anyway do you have pass any part from the CFA? Because is very very hard. Believe me is harder than must MBAs, 3 damn years studying and working is hard. I have been working as FI analyst buyside and studying for level II and is damn hard!!
