I'm hoping someone can provide some insight. I'm currently in an unbarable job and would desparately like a new job. I've been looking for quite some time but without any luck. I have not tried head hunters or recruiters yet, my experience has been that they have little to offer.
What does anyone have to say about quitting the current job and concentrating all my efforts and a new one? Does anyone have any stories or advice? I must stress my current situation is not good. |

It's a cruel irony but candidates that are currently employed are viewed favorably compared to those that are between positions. It's a very tough environment right now and finding something else might be much harder than you anticipate. I wish you luck but make sure that you look before you leap.
