Well, I have already offered this degree to other member of Vaul chat.
I'd recommend Ms in Financial Engineering, instead of getting one more MBA.....
Since you're in IT, I think this Ms degree will help your career. Plus you can hit this degree in a really decent school like Berkely or Carnegie Mellon.
As for me, I plan to hit my first MBA in top three business schools.

You should also do some informational interviews - talk to WOMEN who are working where/at what you want and ask about the family time issues (in addition to your other questions).
