I like desperate's idea - if you decide on another degree, how about one to expand on what you've already got instead of a dup MBA?
You don't say why you want to switch to another co. Don't like it, the work, limited opportunities? There are no sure things. Meaning: there's no way of really knowing how another MBA would affect your future (so I can't answer your questions unless you want guesses). There is the "you" on paper and then there's the rest of the career "you" (which includes stuff like is he a teamplayer, a hard worker, bright, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, pleasant to work with, etc.). Add all of that in with NETWORKING and (I think) it represents 80% of the factors that determine whether we get what we want.

Jane,
You're absolutely right about networking..........:)
My "fight" for CPA and CMA license is the major part of my attempt to break into a big reputable company with a decent compensation. I may hit CFA next year as well.
Kind of "Monkey Business" book rules in reality, people go to the top American schools in order to.........? get at least some chance to be RECOGNIZED/NOTICED and get to this long awaited job interview with a top company employer......
Although, there're thousands of talented hard working experts who simply graduated from smaller less reputable schools.
"Monkey Business" is monkey business INDEED!
I'll enter top five B-School with a couple of years just.... to..... get this job offer from a top employer.
I don't have strong network connections but I'll get to my goal by all possible means anyway....
titles, titles, titles.
:)
