What should I do????
I am a recent college graduate in my second month at my first job. I work at a regional investment firm as an assistant trader. I do not like my job and regret accepting it. This sounds crazy, but it does not line up with my career goals. I would like to work in a corporate finance department eventually upper or middle management. The job I have now is more of a sales and trading postion. I took the position because it sounded interesting and there is a possibility for an excellent income. Basically, I rushed my decision. Should I quit and find a new job more in line with what i want to do or should I tough it out for a little while and then get a new job? Will I be able to get a position in accounting/finance with this kind of experience? Should I work for a couple of years in this position and then get an mba and try to leverage that to a position in line with my goals? Any constructive help would be appreciated! Thanks so much K
