In Reply To: Hi, To begin with it may sound silly but here is why I would like to get some good advice. I did engineering from IIT (India) and then an MBA from a top tier B School (IIM) in India. Since then I joined a top tier management consulting firm in the US. Most of my other colleagues in the firm are MBAs from top tier US B schools I have been with the firm for over three years and am now thinking of switching. I would like to get a perspective on whether I will get similar treatment when applying for management (finance / strategy) positions as someone with a similar experience but an MBA from a top tier US B School? If not how much of a disadvantage it will be? Will it make a significant difference in the long run? Does it make sense for me to invest 2 years and substantial money to do another MBA? I will really appreciate if some of you could share your thoughts with me. Thanks.
Message: Jane, It would be great to get your thoughts around some of the questions I raised. Thanks.
