I am 27 year old woman who has a BBA in Marketing which I received two years ago. Because of my family situation I needed to get a job ASAP after college so I landed the wrong one in administrative field. Right now, I am stuck at this company, making copies, faxing documents, answering phones and it just got to this point that I feel that I can't take it anymore. I am smart, quick learner, with a very good communication skills, and I know that by being in this job longer, I am just liminating my chances of getting my "dream job" in a marketing field. Since this is a big company where I am presently working, I volunteer to do some marketing projects for our new department. My boss found out and he got mad that I am doing some work for them..Those two departments are not on such good terms, so there is a lot of office politics going on here. The second dept. has informed me that they might hire need somebody by the end of the year but right now is so slow that they don't have a budget for hiring new people. I don't like the atmosphere and the environment in my company so I am think it would be better if I change the company. I went to my college career counselor and she helped me to create a new resume that would emphasize more my marketing skills instead of administative. I started to sent out my resume but not much of a response. WHen they call they are getting scared of my salary, which is kind of high for entry level marketing. I am not sure what to do...I am really depressed. I feel like life is passing by and I am not achieving anything. Please help me, what should I do????

well, feel sorry for what happend to you. In fact, I can understand you 100% because I was in the same situation like you before. I hope you can land on new career that you want in time. By the way, Can I ask a personal question? Are you korean? ^^
