Marketing career good for life? HELP!! |

I worked in a marketing consulting firm for about half a year, and just recently quit the job. I was doing law school for a while, hated it, and decided to leave. My major in college was communications and sociology. Now, the big question is, what career path should I, and could I, take now? I wonder if I can still go into financial services, given my education background. I also wonder if marketing is going to take me far enough up the coporate ladder.
Or do you guys have other suggestions for me?
