There are no openings, at this time in my field of recruiting. I have decided to check out Plan B, the ideal business. If you're interested in learning about what I have found to be the "ideal business", email me at hra246@aol.com and I'll fill you in. |

1. Workers are empowered to make decisions and have some control over their work environment.
2. HR people that listen to the employee.
3. Less visits to the doctor for work-related stress and illness.
4. Realistic expectations and real challenges...not menial tasks.
5. Training for the workers on the job. Some of us have already spent a lot of time and money in the classrooms. We need hands on!
6. Team work.....not just a term managers throw around!
7. Managers who are not authoritarian in style....working in Corporate America reminds me of living in a Communist country.
8. Realistic vacation and sick time. 5 days of sick leave a year is not realistic for parents who have sick children and who may themselves become sick.
9. Unplanned time during the year....for emergencies.
10. Do away with yearly reviews and bonuses....they are not really based on your job performance anyway.
