quick question: how long should one stick with a job they hate before moving on? i graduated in dec. and took the first job i could get cuz i needed the money. now my job prospects are looking up (i've been passively job hunting the whole time) - ive been working at my current job for about 2 months now. how much longer do i have to stick it out? |

I hate my work environment but love the job. Is this the case for you, too? Our managers treat the workers really bad. We have little or no control over decisions we make or anything we do at work. I wonder if the career change was really worth it. People in large corporations are so rude and they lack people skills big time. The stress is so bad that many of my co-workers see their doctors for stress related illness and take anti-depressants. Be careful where you go. I'd leave soon. If you stay a year, the next place will wonder why you left after a year. If you are there a few months, no big deal if you haven't done this too many times before. I've been in a bad work environment for almost a year now. I won't stay more than another year. Enough time for me!
