quick question: how long should one stick with a job they hate before moving on? i graduated in dec. and took the first job i could get cuz i needed the money. now my job prospects are looking up (i've been passively job hunting the whole time) - ive been working at my current job for about 2 months now. how much longer do i have to stick it out? |

Dear Tovey,
I recommend you stay there 5 years (NO, just joking with you!!) If you can find something else right away, take it. But I'm wondering why you hate this one & how you'll make sure that the next one doesn't have problems, too? Is it the work, a personality difference or...? And I hope that you will exit as gracefully as possible under the circumstances (profuse apologies, etc.). Not great to be burning bridges so soon in your career.
