I am seriously considering entering the Pharmacy track in school. The program and the entrance process look really, really intimidating.
I am a freshman nearing the end of the 2nd semester. Next year -or this summer- I want to start a Pre-PharmD AS program, then go to Mercer University's Southern School of Pharmacy. However, the admissions process and professional program look really, really intimdating.
My question(s):
How hard is it (really) to obtain a job as a gopher behind that big counter in a pharmacy, never having worked in one before?
From one science nerd to another, is the program really as hard as it looks? 17 hours per semester, on average, undoubtedly is hard studywise, but as far as material?
Where can I find some good information on what I can do with a PharmD degree?
I must apply to MU in the winter/fall of 2002 if I want to attend in 2004 after getting the associate's, so I have to really get on this subject immediately.
